A1: The cost of engaging a personal trainer in Singapore varies. It depends on a few factors such as his experience, brand reputation and training effectiveness. Newbie personal trainers (those starting out with less than one year experience) will normally charge SGD$40 per hour whereas celebrity trainers can charge as much as SGD$120 per hour.

Q2: Is there any preferred age to start personal training?

A2: There is no preferred age to start personal training. Our youngest clients are teenagers who are 16 – 18 years old. We also have seniors aged 55 years and older as our clients.

Q3: How much does a home personal trainer cost?

A3: A home trainer will cost between SGD $65 to SGD $75 per hour. This is a reasonable fee to pay as he provides convenience to your doorstep.

Q9: How do I train to get gold for the IPPT that takes place in Singapore?

A9: The IPPT has three stations – the sit-ups, push ups and 2.4km run. To get gold, you need to train smart. As each station works a different muscle group, you need to structure a fitness programme that centres around that muscle group.
